South Shore Soccer Park Under Construction
You may have noticed some new construction along Arthur Kill Road, near Arden Avenue. Councilman Ignizio is please to report that construction of the Owl Hollow Soccer Complex is well underway. After a lengthy permitting process to ensure protection of the sites natural features, the over 12 million dollar project, originally conceived by Ignizio in 1998, is scheduled to open by fall of 2010. This complex will include 4 new synthetic fields, lights, a comfort station, and a walking trail for all to enjoy.
